Día de los Muertos Street Festival has been a time to celebrate and honor the rich cultural heritage of Mexico and South Texas, unite our community and promote our city. However, while the street festival aspect of the celebration has been cancelled this year, many socially distanced activities will continue as planned inside K Space Gallery and throughout downtown Corpus Christi. Haunting on the Blue Ghost
Nothing says Halloween in Corpus Christi like a haunted ship! Visit the USS Lexington for a spooky experience on a Haunting on the Blue Ghost tour. Due to COVID-19 protocols, tickets are being sold in private groups of four to ten persons per each half hour session. Tickets sell out quickly for dates near Halloween!
Bark in the Park
If you’d like to celebrate Halloween with your furry friend, there is no better place to do it than at Bark in the Park Corpus Christi. This fun, festive event brings together pet-owners, local pet businesses, pet rescue organizations, and no-kill pet shelters in an attempt to raise money and awareness for pet initiatives in the community. Whataburger Field Movie Nights
Whataburger Field for CC Movie Nights will show The Addams Family (2019) movie for free! It will be screened on the Whataburger Field video board. All guests must have a reserved group ticket in advance of each showing. One ticket may include up to six guests. On-field pods and seating bowl options will be properly distanced. October 29, 2021 at 7pm.
Drive-Thru Halloween with the Hooks Oct. 31
Whataburger Field’s 7th annual Halloween with the Hooks is a free, socially distanced trick-or-treat event (without having to leave your vehicle). Treats will be delivered directly to your car window. Guests are encouraged to donate canned food and dry goods. Located in the ballpark’s South Parking Lot from 1-4pm on October 31, 2021.
Spooky City Tours
Enjoy Corpus Christi Tours has multiple haunted tours you’ll enjoy, including Cemetery Tours (morning) and Ghost Tours (evening). On the cemetery tour, you can visit historic cemeteries and hear stories of some of our earliest citizens, walk among their burial sites, see unique monuments and mass burial ground for hundreds of hurricane victims, and much more. The Ghost Tour explores over a dozen haunted sites to hear the stories and the history behind these haunted locations and what other guests have encountered.
