Winter Craft Fair at Southside Farmers’ Market

With all of the delicious food on offer during the holiday season, it can be easy to pack on a few extra pounds. For people who want to make sure that their turkey doesn’t add to their waistline, the Sunday Bridgewalk is a fantastic option. Beginning at Heritage Park, hundreds of people walk (or run) across Corpus Christi’s beautiful Harbor Bridge. There are four different BridgeWalk routes you can choose from — run the Harbor Bridge, walk the Harbor Bridge, run the Shoreline Route-BridgeWalk Without a Bridge, or walk the Shoreline Route-BridgeWalk Without a Bridge.

Illuminated Boat Parade

See Corpus Christi come alive during the Illuminated Boat Parade presented by the Port of Corpus Christi! Drum Fishing

Though fishing may not be a traditional holiday activity, the waters around the Corpus Christi area offer some excellent angling opportunities during the month of December. In particular, large numbers of freshwater drum usually appear close to Indian Point Pier around this time. So what are you waiting for? Grab a rod, pack some lunch, and enjoy some of the finest fishing that Texas has to offer!

Yoga at the Texas Surf Museum

Each Sunday during the holiday season, the Texas Surf Museum hosts a free yoga class on its grounds. Whether you are an experienced yogi or a relative newbie, these events are always an enjoyable experience. After you are finished, you can always roll up your mat and explore the museum – truly one of the most unique places in all of Corpus Christi.
